Nominate a Staff Member to USAC

Elections for the 2018–2020 term will take place April 10–May 1, 2018.

Under the Council’s new model for electing membership, not every division will have an election each year. The elections committee will work to stagger future elections in order to avoid a full turnover of representatives from a division and to provide opportunities for collaboration and mentorship among staff members elected to serve as their division’s representative to the Council.

The following divisions will elect staff members in the allotted departments to serve a two-year term as a member of the University Staff Advisory Council:

Athletics

  • Divisional Representative

Academic Affairs 

  • School Staffs – SPCS or Law
  • School Staffs – Business
  • Library

Advancement & Communications 

  • Divisional Representative

Business Affairs

  • Dining Services Representative
  • Facilities Representative
  • Public Safety

Information Services 

  • Divisional Representative

Student Development & Chaplaincy

  • Divisional Representative

Who is Eligible to Serve on USAC?

Any full-time staff member, who is aligned within the current salary structure, is eligible to serve on USAC, with the exception of Associate Vice-Presidents, Vice-Presidents or the President.
