Parenting Affinity Group

2015-2016 Co-Chairs: Gina Flanagan, Cindy Sharp, and Dwayne Smith

What is the parenting group?
This group has been created for all University of Richmond’s employees, faculty and staff, to focus on issues relating to parents with children of any age (as well as parents-to-be). As the needs of parents are varied, we incorporate speakers based on the group’s interests.
Being a parent is a wonderful experience, but it can also be challenging and scary.  Join us to lend your support or to share your experiences, life lessons, tips, and how-to’s with other faculty and staff members who are parents. Participants are invited to bring lunch to our monthly brown bag meetings.

How do I join?
Please take a moment to register for our listserv.  The listserv may be used by any participant to share resources or ask questions to the whole group. Parents have asked questions related to strollers, daycare, and potty training via the listserv.
